Breakfast is the most important meal, they say! Well, I cannot agree more, it indeed is! Breakfast breaks the overnight fast in your system. It provides glucose and all the other nutrients to your body and keeps your energy level high to get through the entire day. Make sure to consume the right amount of protein, carbs and other nutrients for breakfast. It’s always a hassle to make breakfast in the morning because we all have a busy schedule. Work, household chores, and baby will mostly be one of your hurdles in the mornings. Most of us end up skipping breakfast and that’s surely a big no-no! A flat-tummy begins in the kitchen. You cannot skip breakfast or eat an unhealthy breakfast for a flat tummy. We have listed some of the best recipes for a flat tummy just for you!

You’ll need:

  • Rolled oats- 2 Cups
  • Almond milk/soy milk/milk- 2 Cups
  • Lemon zest(optional)
  • Vanilla extract/essence
  • Nuts- almond, pecan, pistachio and raisins
  • Seasonal fruit- any fruit that you would like to eat with oats
  • Honey/dates syrup

You will need to combine oats, milk, zest and vanilla in a bowl. Cover it with a sheet and refrigerate overnight.

You can scoop oatmeal into bowls the next morning, and top with nuts, fruits and honey. Breakfast is ready!

You’ll need:

  • Berries of your choice- 1 big cup
  • Ripe banana- 1
  • Almond milk/soy milk/milk- 1 Cup
  • Nuts- pistachio, almond
  • Millet(green/foxtail millet)- ½ cup
  • Sesame seeds
  • Honey/dates syrup

Blend banana, millet, honey and berries in a blender. Top it up with nuts, and sesame seeds(or blend it with the rest of the ingredients).
